SmeadSoft Reprint Date: Monday, August 12, 2013 - <br />r , <br />ORDINANCE 89- 23 <br />PART 4 <br />REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS <br />All previous Drdinanc€s-rresolutions, or motions -of- tfie-Board <br />of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, which <br />conflict with the provision <br />to the extent of such conflict.. All Special Acts of the legisla- <br />ture applying only to the unincorporated portion of Indian River <br />County and which conflict with the provision of this ordinance are <br />hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. <br />PART 5 <br />CODIFICATION <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall be incorporated into <br />the County Code and the word "Ordinance" may be changed to "sec- <br />tion!', "article", or other appropriate wo_rd and the sections of <br />this ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such <br />intentions. <br />PART 6 <br />SEVERABILITY <br />If-any----section,-par-t-0#-a--sentence, paragraph, phrase -or -word <br />of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, <br />inoperative or void, such holdings shall not affect the remaining <br />portions hereof and it shall be construed to have been the legis- <br />lative intent to pass this ordinance without such unconstitution- <br />al, invalid or inoperative part. <br />PART 7 <br />EFFECTIVE -DATE <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall be come effective upon <br />receipt from the Florida Secretary of State of official acknowl- <br />edgement that this ordinance has been filed with the Department of <br />State. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River CountTof this 25th day of July , <br />1989. <br />This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -Journal <br />on the 30th day of June , 1989 for a public <br />hearing to be held on the Zbth day of July . <br />1989, at which time it was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />Sc9rlock and seconded by Commissioner <br />Eggert , and adopted by the following vote: <br />Chairman Gary C.
