Planning by a mutti_disciplinary team of managers, <br />planners and technical expercs; <br />3. Public participation should be encouraged in the <br />planning processi <br />4. Flexibility in order to adapt to changing demands. <br />, <br />1. To provide a wide range of recreational opportuniti.es <br />which meet the current and future demands of aI1 <br />segments of the community; <br />2. To use natural resources to full advantaqe in meetinq <br />recreation and open space needs; <br />3. To preserve the unique and irreplaceable natural <br />resources; <br />4. To coordinate witir State, Regional and Municipal <br />levels of government in providing recreational <br />opportunities; <br />5. To integrate recreat.ional space and facilities <br />into al1 urban residential areas. <br />RECREATION POLICIES: <br />The park system sharr be expanded to insure that arr <br />residents have adequate recreational opportunities.
