i -- <br />ORDINANCE NO. 85 - 104 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION- <br />ERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISH- <br />ING BOUNDARIES FOR THE 25 ACRE TOURIST COMMER- <br />CIAL NODE LOCATED ON U.S. #1 AT THE NORTH <br />COUNTY BOUNDARY AS GENERALLY DESCRIBED IN THE <br />TEXT OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT AND DEPICTED ON <br />THE LAND USE MAP OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE <br />COUNTY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />BOUNDARY MAP, DESCRIPTION OF THE NODE AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida have amended the County's Comprehensive <br />Plain to provide for establishing boundaries for ever, commer- <br />cial, commercial/industrial, industrial, tourist commercial, <br />and hospital/commercial node; and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoniay Cc-;issio❑ has h-ld a <br />public hearing and subsequently :ace a recto ndation to <br />estab'ish boundaries for this node; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Cc.- issic:.^_rs has h. -I,! <br />l+:L!;c hearing on these proposed Lour:daries <br />�.ri•_ <br />in interest and citizens had an opportunity tce he heard; <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Co:-issoners is em,crered <br />to adopt these boundaries to ass=ist !,-, the _nc..e:centatic;: <br />th<r County's Comprehensive Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I1' ORDAINED, by the Board cc count/ <br />Conunissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that: <br />SECTION 1 <br />The attached map labeled as "Attachment A" and the <br />description labeled as "Attachment B" shall be the official <br />boundaries of the 25 acre Tourist Commercial Node located on <br />U.S. #1 at the north County boundary. <br />SECTION 2 <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective <br />upon receipt from the Florida Secretary of State of official <br />acknowledgment that this ordinance has been filed with the <br />Department of State. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida on the <br />18th day of December <br />1985. <br />
