i -- ORDINANCE NO. 85 - 104 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION- ERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISH- ING BOUNDARIES FOR THE 25 ACRE TOURIST COMMER- CIAL NODE LOCATED ON U.S. #1 AT THE NORTH COUNTY BOUNDARY AS GENERALLY DESCRIBED IN THE TEXT OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT AND DEPICTED ON THE LAND USE MAP OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COUNTY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR THE BOUNDARY MAP, DESCRIPTION OF THE NODE AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida have amended the County's Comprehensive Plain to provide for establishing boundaries for ever, commer- cial, commercial/industrial, industrial, tourist commercial, and hospital/commercial node; and WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoniay Cc-;issio❑ has h-ld a public hearing and subsequently :ace a recto ndation to estab'ish boundaries for this node; and, WHEREAS, The Board of County Cc.- issic:.^_rs has h. -I,! l+:L!;c hearing on these proposed Lour:daries �.ri•_ in interest and citizens had an opportunity tce he heard; WHEREAS, The Board of County Co:-issoners is em,crered to adopt these boundaries to ass=ist !,-, the _nc..e:centatic;: th<r County's Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE I1' ORDAINED, by the Board cc count/ Conunissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that: SECTION 1 The attached map labeled as "Attachment A" and the description labeled as "Attachment B" shall be the official boundaries of the 25 acre Tourist Commercial Node located on U.S. #1 at the north County boundary. SECTION 2 EFFECTIVE DATE The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective upon receipt from the Florida Secretary of State of official acknowledgment that this ordinance has been filed with the Department of State. Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida on the 18th day of December 1985.
