ORDINANCE 885 - 32 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING <br />BOUNDARIES FOR THE 160 ACRE COMMERCIAL NODE AT <br />THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROAD 60 AND KINGS <br />HIGHWAY AS DESCRIBED IN THE TEXT OF THE LAND <br />USE ELEMENT AND DEPICTED ON THE LAND USE MAP <br />OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COUNTY'S <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR BOUNDARY MAP <br />OF THE NODE AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has amended the <br />County's Comprehensive Plan to provide for establishing <br />boundaries for every commercial, commercial/industrial, <br />industrial, tourist/commercial, and hospital/commercial node; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has held a <br />public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation to <br />establish boundaries for this node; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a <br />public hearing on these proposed boundaries at which parties in <br />interest and citizens had an opportunity to be heard; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners is empowered to <br />adopt these boundaries to assist in the implementation of the <br />County's Comprehensive Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that: <br />SECTION 1 <br />The attached map labeled as "Attachment A" shall be the <br />official boundaries of the 160 acre State Road 60 and Kings <br />Highway commercial node. <br />SECTION 2 <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective <br />upon receipt from the Florida Secretary of State of official <br />acknowledgement that this ordinance has been filed with the <br />Department of State. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida on the 10th day of April <br />1985. <br />
