FEB 21992 wK 48 rAsF781 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-30 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION <br />OF A GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE CRISIS LINE/ <br />INFORMATION REFERRAL PROGRAM TO THE STATE OF <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AND COMMUNITY <br />AFFAIRS UNDER THE FLORIDA FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE <br />FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES ACT. <br />WHEREAS, the attached application requests funding for the <br />Crisis Line/Information Referral Program in the amount of $12,113.80, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the application provides for a cash match of <br />$5,000.00 to be provided by the United Way, in-kind services of <br />$16,665.60, and no cash match on behalf of Indian River County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY that the Chairman and the Clerk <br />of the Board of County Commissioners are authorized to execute the <br />attached Grant Application to the State of Florida Department of <br />Veteran and Community Affairs for the Crisis Line/ Information and <br />Referral Program under the Florida Assistance for Community Services <br />Act of 1974. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was <br />as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Vice -Chairman A. Grover Fletcher Nay <br />Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons Aye <br />Commissioner William C.
