FEB 171982 <br />��qq <br />BOOK . 48 K:;E 875 <br />E) A certificate from the Zoning Department of <br />Indian River County indicating that the area <br />proposed for the display and sale carries a <br />commercial, industrial or agricultural zoning <br />classification. No occupational license will <br />be issued by the Tax Collector without this <br />certificate. <br />Section III. License Fee and Display <br />The License Fee for conducting business as a transient <br />merchant shall be the sum of Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars per year <br />payable in advance. The license shall be displayed in a prominent <br />place at the location where the merchandise is sold. <br />Section IV. Enforcement <br />The Sheriff of Indian River County shall cause <br />sufficient inspections.to occur to insure compliance with the <br />provisions Of this Ordinance. The Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County may authorize the County Attorney to bring <br />civil proceedings in the Circuit Court of the 19th Judicial <br />Circuit to enforce the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section V. Penalty <br />Any person or business entity who violates the provision <br />of this Ordinance, upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not <br />to exceed Five. Hundred ($500.00) Dollars or by imprisonment in the <br />County Jail not to exceed sixty (60) days or by both such fine and <br />imprisonment. A separate offense shall be deemed committed for <br />each day the violation continues. <br />Section VI. Severability <br />If any section, sub -section, paragraph, sentence, clause <br />or phrase of this Ordinance should be declared invalid for any <br />reason whatsoever, such decision shall not affect the remaining <br />portions which shall remain in full force and effect. To this <br />end, the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be <br />severable. <br />Section VII. Repeal of Conflicting Laws <br />Any provision of any ordinance or laws of Indian River <br />County existing on the effective date of this Ordinance, which <br />are in conflict with the provisions contained herein, shall be <br />deemed repealed to the extent of such conflict. <br />
