Scurlock, Jr. <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Indian River County <br />Re: Department of Interior Maps <br />Dear Commissioner Scurlock: <br />I am writing this letter to request that the County Commission notify <br />...the Department of Interior to remove r*ndi,an Rmi ver County `frofn the <br />draft maps which are currently.in circulation. <br />At our particular project., Sea Oaks, there are a number of specific <br />governmental actions which have been obtained. I feel these actions <br />give us the right to continue to develop without being subjected to <br />new Federal Legislation, and that Indian.River County should assist <br />us in protecting our vested rights. <br />I would like to summarize the major governmental approvals which we <br />have received to date: <br />6-1-81 Purchased property in North Beach area of Indian River County <br />known as Sea Oaks. <br />6-23-81'Received letter from State of Florida Department of Veteran <br />& Community Affairs, Division of Local Resource Management. <br />Findings of letter: <br />A. The Division finds this development will not impact <br />regionally significant natural resources. <br />B. The Division finds this development will not highly <br />impact regional public facilities. <br />C. Traffic count in the first quarter of 1981 shows <br />4,353 average daily trips on SR 510 and 3,700 average <br />daily trips on SR A -1-A in the vicinity of this project. <br />BAR 171982 <br />
