APR 7 1982 VGA M w2m <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bird, that the Board accept the recommendation <br />of the Public Works Director and approve the Road Resurfacing <br />Program. <br />A brief discussion ensued. <br />The Chairman called for the question. It was voted on <br />and carried unanimously. <br />TREASURE COAST UTILITIES, INC. <br />Attorney Brandenburg reviewed the Sales Agreement between <br />Treasure Coast Utilities, Inc., D. Travis Salter, and the <br />County. He explained that Louis Aiello had a claim against <br />Mr. Salter, which he felt was approximately $35,000, and the <br />Attorney had placed a provision in the sales agreement for <br />$25,000. He added that, -in the event the $25,000 was not - <br />sufficient, the receiver would go after the receipts <br />from Treasure Coast Utilities, Inca If Mr. Aiello was <br />unsuccessful, the Attorney noted there might be a remote <br />possibility that he would next look to the County, but he <br />felt the chances of there being any assets awarded by the <br />County to the receiver were slim. <br />Commissioner -Bird inquired if there was an accurate list <br />of the equipment, and was the question of legal title to the <br />land resolved. <br />Attorney Brandenburg stated he could not tell if the <br />list of assets were accurate, but there was a provision that <br />the County would receive a quit claim deed. He felt sure <br />they covered all the major assets. <br />Commissioner Wodtke inquired if a thorough search had <br />0 <br />been made of any existing liens that could have been placed <br />on the property. <br />The Attorney explained that the seller has provided title <br />insurance and any liens that were of record would show up on <br />
