Wednesday, April 21, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, April 21, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover Fletcher, <br />Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr. Also present were David L. Greene, Assistant <br />County Administrator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental <br />Coordinator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; <br />and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting .to order. <br />Commissioner Wodtke led the Pledge of Allegiance to the -- <br />Flag, and Reverend Malcolm Wansley, Calvary Baptist Church, <br />gave the invocation. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Assistant Administrator Greene requested adding an item <br />concerning a Letter of Conditions from the FmHA. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved the <br />addition of the emergency item to the -Agenda, as requested <br />by Mr. Greene. <br />Mr. Greene requested adding an item concerning a <br />1 <br />workshop with the St. Johns River Water Management District, <br />and another item concerning Florida Power & Light utilities. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Lyons, -seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously approved the <br />addition of the emergency items to the Agenda, as requested <br />by Mr. Greene. <br />moK 49 PAGE 401 <br />APR 21 1982 <br />
