ORDINANCE NO. 82-8 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />did publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described <br />property and pursuant thereto held a public hearing in relation thereto, at which <br />parties in interest and citizens were heard; NOW THEREFORE, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, that the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River County, Florida, and the <br />accompanying Zoning Map, be amended as follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the following described <br />property situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: <br />A portion of the plat of INDIAN RIVER FARMS COMPANY, lying in Section 31, <br />Township 33 South, Range 40 East, Indian River County, Florida, being <br />more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the North right-of-way of 23rd Place S.W. <br />and the East right-of-way line of 6th Avenue S.W. as shown on the Plat of <br />VERO BEACH HIGHLANDS UNIT FIVE as recorded in Plat Book 8 at page 56 of <br />the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida, said point being on <br />the arc of a circular to the right whose radius points bears S 890-42'-13"E <br />from said point; thence Northerly and Northeasterly along the arc of said <br />curve having a radius of 260.00 feet and'a central angle of 310-13'-25" <br />for an arc distance of 141.69 feet to POINT OF REVERSE CURVATURE of a <br />circular curve to the left; thence Northeasterly and Northerly along the <br />arc of said curve having a radius of 640.00 feet and a central angle of <br />310-31'-12" for an arc distance of 352.08 feet to a POINT OF COMPOUND <br />CURVATURE of a circular curve continuing to the left; thence Northerly <br />and Northwesterly along the arc of said curve having a radius of 526.01 <br />feet and a central angle of 290-20'-00' for an arc distance of 269.30 <br />feet to a POINT OF TANGENCY; thence N 290-20-'-00"W for 180.88 feet; <br />thence N 600-40'-00"E, along a portion of the Southeasterly right-of-way <br />line of 23rd Street S.W. as shown on said plat of VERO BEACH HIGHLANDS <br />UNIT FIVE, for a distance of 1289.39 feet to a point on the South right- <br />of-way line of CANAL J-5, thence S 890-35'-54"E,along a portion of the <br />said South Canal .right-of-way line, for a distance of 215.73 feet to a <br />point on the Westerly right-of-way line of LATERAL CANAL J-5; thence <br />S 140-00'-00"E, along a portion of the said Westerly right-of-way line, <br />a distance of 1569.93 feet; thence N 890-42'-34"W a distance of 1696.35 <br />feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />Said lands situate, lying and being in Indian River County, Florida, and <br />containing 43.18 Acres, more or less. <br />Be changed from R-1, Single Family Residential to R -2D, Multi -Family <br />Dwelling District. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in said <br />Zoning Regulations. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect May 25, 1982. <br />STATE OF FLORIDA <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THIS IS <br />A TRUE AND CORRECT COPY OF <br />THE ORIGINAL ON FILE IN THIS <br />OFFICE. <br />FREDA WRIGHT, CLERK <br />BY D.C. <br />DATE .5 �2G -Ifa <br />
