Wednesday, May 5, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, May 5, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover Fletcher, <br />Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr. Also present were David L. Greene, Assistant <br />County Administrator;-L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental <br />Coordinator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; <br />Dan Fleischman, Bailiff; and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice <br />Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Dr. Fred W. McClellan, Pastor of the First Presbyterian <br />Church, gave the invocation, and Assistant Administrator <br />Greene led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />REMOVE FROM AGENDA <br />Chairman Scurlock announced that Item 15-A, concerning <br />the Humane Society Site Plan Appeal, was to be removed from <br />the Agenda, as well'as Item 10 concerning the Kequest by <br />Christopher Ekonomou for resurfacing of 14th Street between <br />6th Avenue and U.S. #1. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Fletcher, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously agreed to remove <br />Item 15-A regarding the Humane Society, and Item 10 <br />regarding resurfacing of 14th Street from the Agenda. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested adding an item regarding <br />the Sales and Purchase Agreement for Ixora Utilities. <br />4 8,5 <br />MAY 5 1982 <br />r <br />
