.49 PA1 X48 <br />MAY 5 �9a2 <br />Commissioner Fletcher pointed out that this matter has not <br />been added to the Agenda. <br />Motion by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wodtke, to add the above letter to today's agenda was defeated by <br />a 4 to 1 vote, Commissioner Fletcher voting in opposition. <br />REPORT ON ARCHITECT FOR JAIL & REQUEST FOR OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL <br />Commissioner Lyons reported that the Architect Selection <br />Sub -Committee of the Public Safety Advisory Committee did travel <br />to Gainesville and New Port Richey to view jails in those areas <br />and as a result have decided they definitely do not want to <br />utilize the firm of Prindle & Patrick. They have two meetings <br />scheduled for next week - the firm local architect Charles Block <br />is involved with is coming here to make a presentation, and they <br />have a date to go to St. Petersberg to view a jail recently <br />completed and need approval for out -of -county travel. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Lyons, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved out -of -county <br />travel for the following members of the Architect Selection Sub - <br />Committee to visit the jail in St. Petersberg on Thursday, May 6,. <br />1982: Captain Baird, County Engineer James Davis, Art Schereen, <br />and Commissioner Lyons. <br />AGREEMENT WITH POST, BUCKLEY RE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING <br />SERVICES <br />The Agreement with Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan re solid <br />waste management consulting services is hereby made a part of the <br />Minutes as approved at the Regular Meeting of April 21, 1982. <br />103 <br />
