ORDINANCE NO. 85-69 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property and pursuant thereto <br />held a public hearing in relation thereto, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning <br />Ordinance of Indian River County, Florida, and the accompanying <br />Zoning Map, be amended as follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the <br />following described property situated in Indian <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />A PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 <br />OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 31 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA BEING :(ORE PARTICULARLY <br />DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />COMMENCE AT THE NORTHitiEST COMZER OF THE NORTHEAST <br />1/4 OF THE NORTHitiEST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 17; THENCE <br />SOUTH 89°36'42" EAST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID <br />SECTION 17 FOR 86.32 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 25°57'59" <br />EAST ALONG THE EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY OF U.S. <br />HIGHWAY NO. 1 FOR 1820.27 FEET TO THE POINT OF <br />BEGINNING AND POINT ON A CUR,—E, SAID POINT BEARS <br />SOUTH 0°46'39" WEST FROA; THE RADIUS POINT; THENCE <br />SOUTIIEASTERLY ALONG A CIRCULAR CURVE TO THE LEFT <br />HAVING A RADIUS OF 40.00 FEET, A CENTRAL ANGLE OF <br />0° 33'45" FOR AN ARC DISTANCE OF 0.39 FEET TO A <br />POINT OF TANGENCY; THENCE SOUTH 89°47'06" EAST FOR <br />117.97 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 86°15'51" EAST FOR 73.28 <br />FEET TO A POINT OF CURVATURE; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY <br />ALONG A CIRCULAR CURVE TO THE RIGHT, HAVING A <br />RADIUS OF 250.00 FEET A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 31°30'00" <br />FOR AN ARC DISTANCE OF 136.44 FEET TO A POINT OF <br />REVERSE CURVATURE; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY ALONG A <br />CIRCULAR CURVE TO THE RIGHT HAVING A RADIUS OF 97.50 <br />FEET, A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 24°35'30" FOR AN ARC <br />DISTANCE OF 41.85 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 25°57'59" EAST <br />FOR 325.58 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89"47'06" WEST ALONG <br />THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTH 660.00 FEET OF SAID <br />GOVERNMENT LOT 2 AND ITS WESTERLY PROJECTION FOR <br />334.30 FEET; THENCE NORTH 25°57'59" WEST ALONG THE <br />EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY- OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 1 FOR <br />386.20 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING AND CONTAINING <br />2.584 ACRES MORE OR LESS. <br />Be changed from C-lA, Restricted Commercial District to <br />RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and <br />described in said Zoning Regulations. <br />
