Please note, Change Order No. 1 <br />represented a contract deduct for manhole frames and covers and the <br />deduct for Change Order No. 4 is in addition to Change Order No. 1. <br />Please also note, the change in manhole frames and covers has been re- <br />quested by the City of Vero Beach as documented by the attached letter <br />to Change Order No. 4 . <br />Also enclosed is a copy of a letter from Bain Underground Utilities, <br />Inc., detailing their Lump Sum break down for lowering Lift Station No. <br />1, 2 feet. The necessity of lowering Lift Station No. 1 is a result of <br />lowering the gravity sewer and manhole on the adjacent Town of Indian <br />River Shores project in which Lift Station No. 1 is connected. Also in- <br />cluded in Bain's letter is a request for a 30 day time extension for this <br />project due to the delays caused by lowering Lift Station No. 1. As you <br />recall these items were discussed in our meeting of April 27, 1982, in <br />the Law Office of Larry Barkett. <br />The items in Bain's letter which we received on April 30, 1982, (copy <br />attached) should be placed on the agenda for discussion at the next Coun- <br />ty Commission meeting for.Board Approval. <br />Q.wmw & P.rp.t -4 Mao&-" w4 & s 2~V.6, avn,"y <br />
