MAY 26 19$2 <br />FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE - REPORT <br />Chairman Scurlock advised that at the Finance Advisory <br />Committee meeting, they analyzed the scope of services for <br />the auditing firm, and recommended it be conveyed to the <br />Audit Selection Committee. He added that they also talked <br />of the possible need for a Financial Advisor for the County. <br />The Chairman continued that they had looked at the scope <br />of work in a similar community, and will soon be coming forth <br />with a recommendation to the Board. <br />BUDGET WORKSHOP - REQUESTED BY SHERIFF <br />Chairman Scurlock reviewed the following memorandum <br />dated May 13, 1982: <br />70: 'Don C. The following are the items to be discussed: <br />1. <br />Change over in the present telephone system. <br />Southern Bell will mace the presentation <br />2. Conversion of patrol vehicles to propane fuel <br />This is a big initial expense, but over the years this <br />conversion could save money <br />3.
