ORDINANCE NO. 85-87 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Co,=u.issioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Co.-:.,issioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizen were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />A parcel of land being the Northeast 1/4 of the North- <br />west 1/4 (Less Right -of -Way) and the north 1/2 of the <br />Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, a part of the <br />Northeast 1/4 (Less Right -of -Way), all of Section 5, <br />Township 33 South, Range 39 East, Indian River County, <br />Florida; Whistlewood Subdivision as recorded in Plat <br />Book 10, Page 45 of the Public Records of Indian River <br />County, Florida, being more particularly described as <br />follow: Commence at the Northeast corner of the: <br />Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 5; <br />thence South 00°04100" West a distance of 30.00 feet to <br />the south Right -of -Way of sublateral A-3 Canal and the <br />POINT -OF -BEGINNING of the herein described parcel, <br />thence south 89158144" East, along the said south <br />Right -of -Way, a distance of 334.10 feet, thence South <br />00°03'10" West , a distance of 504.61 feet; thence <br />South 55°20'04" West, a distance of 170.33 feet; thence <br />South 33°13'49" West, a distance of 354.69 feet; thence <br />South 00°01115" West, a distance of 295.20 feet; thence <br />South 46109'52" East, a distance of 1102.41 feet; <br />thence South 89053128" East, a distance of 67.78 feet; <br />thence South 00°17'09" East, a distance of 489.69 feet <br />to the north Right -of -Way of State Highway 60; thence <br />South 89158132" West along the said north Right -of -Way <br />a distance of 531.65 feet to the west line of Whistle - <br />wood Subdivision; thence North 00118123" West along the <br />said west line a distance of 490.84 feet; thence North <br />
