The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, June 16, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Alfred Grover Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; <br />Patrick B. Lyons; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman, was absent from the meeting. Also <br />present were C. B. Hardin, Acting Administrator, L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Community Services Director; Gary <br />Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Vice Chairman c4lled the meeting to order. <br />Dr. William J. Crowder gave the invocation, and <br />Commissioner Wodtke led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Vice Chairman asked if there were any additions to <br />the Agenda. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested adding an item to the <br />Agenda concerning the garbage franchise fee effective date. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to add the emergency item to the Agenda, <br />as requested by Attorney Brandenburg. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested adding an item to the <br />Agenda concerning the Duck Point appeal. <br />JUN 18 1982 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to add the emergency item to the Agenda, <br />as requested by Attorney Brandenburg. <br />
