U N 16 1992 50 TAUT 92 <br />serving the sewage collection/transmission system to ensure'' <br />that they are functionally operable for their intended <br />purpose. <br />3) Within twenty-five (25) days of the effective <br />date of this Consent Order, Respondent shall institute effective <br />chlorination of the sewage effluent and will apply one hundred <br />pounds of chlorine per day or an amount of chlorine sufficient to - <br />V, retain <br />o <br />Vlretain a 0.5 mg/l total chlorine residual at the end of the <br />chlorine contact chamber at maximum daily flow. <br />4) Within five (5) days of the effective date of <br />this Consent Order-, Respondent shall implement a monitoring program <br />for the sewage treatment facility in accordance with Florida <br />Administrative Code Chapter 17-19. <br />5) Within five (5) days of the effective date of <br />this Consent Order, Respondent shall implement a bacteriological <br />monitoring program for the water treatment facility in accordance <br />with Florida Administrative Code Rule 17-22.105(1)(d) and shall take <br />applicable corrective measures if a violation of the latter is <br />found. <br />6) Beginning with the effective date of the Consent <br />Order, Respondent shall institute effective disinfection measures <br />at the water treatment facility so as to maintain a minimum con- <br />tinuous free chlorine residual of 0.2, mg/l throughout the distri- <br />bution system at all times. <br />7) Respondent shall maintain the drinking water supply <br />well, distribution system and water treatment facility in good <br />working order to protect the health and well-being of the con- <br />sumers served by the system until the system is phased out <br />of service. <br />8) Respondent shall maintain the sewage collection/ <br />transmission system and sewage treatment facility in a manner <br />to prevent the disruption of service to the users and to minimize <br />the creation of nuisance conditions in the environment as a result <br />of the facility's operation until the system is phased out of <br />service. <br />M_ <br />-3- <br />
