U N 16 1992 50 TAUT 92 serving the sewage collection/transmission system to ensure'' that they are functionally operable for their intended purpose. 3) Within twenty-five (25) days of the effective date of this Consent Order, Respondent shall institute effective chlorination of the sewage effluent and will apply one hundred pounds of chlorine per day or an amount of chlorine sufficient to - V, retain o Vlretain a 0.5 mg/l total chlorine residual at the end of the chlorine contact chamber at maximum daily flow. 4) Within five (5) days of the effective date of this Consent Order-, Respondent shall implement a monitoring program for the sewage treatment facility in accordance with Florida Administrative Code Chapter 17-19. 5) Within five (5) days of the effective date of this Consent Order, Respondent shall implement a bacteriological monitoring program for the water treatment facility in accordance with Florida Administrative Code Rule 17-22.105(1)(d) and shall take applicable corrective measures if a violation of the latter is found. 6) Beginning with the effective date of the Consent Order, Respondent shall institute effective disinfection measures at the water treatment facility so as to maintain a minimum con- tinuous free chlorine residual of 0.2, mg/l throughout the distri- bution system at all times. 7) Respondent shall maintain the drinking water supply well, distribution system and water treatment facility in good working order to protect the health and well-being of the con- sumers served by the system until the system is phased out of service. 8) Respondent shall maintain the sewage collection/ transmission system and sewage treatment facility in a manner to prevent the disruption of service to the users and to minimize the creation of nuisance conditions in the environment as a result of the facility's operation until the system is phased out of service.
