MOTION was made by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke that the Board offer <br />the position of County Administrator to Rick <br />Fitzgerald with a maximum annual salary of <br />$42,000, along with reasonable moving expenses; <br />that the question of retirement be resolved and <br />if the ICMA plan does not cost the County <br />additional funds, it would be acceptable, but if <br />it does, then the State retirement plan should <br />be used instead; that there be a 5% increase in <br />salary after 6 months; and that Mr. Fitzgerald <br />be willing to accept this offer no later than <br />August 15, 1982. <br />A brief discussion followed along those lines. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried with a vote of <br />4 to 1, with Commissioner Fletcher voting <br />in opposition. <br />PROCLAMATION <br />J U L * 1982 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Proclamation regarding Solidarity <br />Day, September 18, 1982. <br />19 <br />o�xU fnd.39 <br />
