Attorney Brandenburg requested that the Board authorize <br />their Attorney, special bond counsel, the investment <br />bankers, and all appropriate staff, to take the steps <br />necessary for filing of the validation suit as soon as - <br />possible so as to be able to put Bond Anticipation Notes or <br />some other type financing in place prior to September, which <br />will allow us to free up some $480,000 which has been <br />carried on the books since the beginning of the South County <br />project to cover cost overruns, thereby making these funds <br />available for use in next year's budget. He noted that it <br />is important to move ahead as quickly as possible. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board by a 4 to 1 <br />vote, Commissioner Fletcher voting in oppo- <br />sition, authorized the County staff, investment <br />bankers, special Bond Counsel and the County <br />Attorney, to proceed with the steps necessary <br />for the financing and validation of these bonds'as <br />soon as possible. <br />TREASURE COVE SUBDIVISION SEWER FRANCHISE TERMINATION <br />The Board reviewed the following memo: <br />J U L 71982 61 BON 50 PACE 311 <br />
