The Cit; Govcrrr;cnt <br />has on several occasions negotiated with the trustee <br />for the annexation of Homewwod Subdivision. These <br />negotiations were unsuccessful which reduced the cities <br />possibilities of a broaden tax base and revenues to <br />provide the services they will require. <br />Therefore it is the intent of the City of Fellsmere <br />Council to request that the Homewood Subdivision be <br />reduced from LD1 zone to Agricultural and require the <br />developer to provide access roads to CR 507 for the <br />RR1 west of the City of Fellsmere, relieving a great <br />burden on the City Government to provide graded roads <br />to the development: <br />Thanking you for your consideration in this important <br />matter, I am, <br />Si c�erely, <br />Joe B. Suit, r. <br />Mayor <br />Mr. Challacombe commented that staff recommended that <br />this request be denied. <br />Susan Wilson, Fellsmere, came before the Board and <br />explained that Homewood Subdivision is presently platted but <br />has never been documented. She requested that the Board <br />consider making it a RR -1 designation. <br />Dewey Walker, Zoning Manager, noted that Homewood <br />Subdivision had 2h acre lots. <br />Ray Scent commented that if the property, was zoned <br />Agricultural, it would go to one unit per 5 acres. He felt <br />that as long as it was kept in a residential category, there <br />would be no problems. <br />ITEM #14 - Albert H.
