JUL 13 1992 <br />s®oK -50 Pr%r 406 <br />Julian Lowenptein discussed the area between Oslo Road <br />and Granada Gardens Subdivision and felt it would be more <br />appropriate to retain the highway frontage on U.S. #1 as <br />commercial and commence with the residential district south; <br />the ditch would act as a natural barrier. He thought that <br />nobody would ever conceive putting in a residence at the <br />subject location. <br />Mr. Challacombe agreed, and thought that staff would <br />definitely look favorably upon any commercial development <br />there. <br />MOTION was made by Carolyn Eggert, SECONDED by <br />John Tippin, that the Planning & Zoning Commission <br />recommend to the Board that the Oslo node would <br />contain the Commercial on the east side of U.S. #1 <br />to the second ditch, at the South end of Granada <br />Gardens. <br />Brief discussion ensued. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. It was <br />voted on and carried unanimously. <br />ITEM #20 - Steve Henderson - Request Community Development <br />Department to review feasibility of changing <br />subject property designation from MD -1 to LD -1. <br />The Board discussed the following letter: <br />
