Wednesday, August 4, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, August 4, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover Fletcher, <br />Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons, and William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr. Also present were C. B. Hardin, Acting County <br />Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Neal <br />Bird, Bailiff; and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice Caldwell, <br />Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />The Reverend Julius Rice, Community Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Lyons led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested adding an item concerning <br />the investigation of traffic on AlA at Pelican Cove. <br />ON MOTION MADE BY Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unanimously <br />approved the addition of the emergency item, as <br />requested by Commissioner Lyons. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested adding .an item concerning <br />a discussion of the chemical named "Temik. <br />ON MOTION MADE BY Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />0�K 54 r��� 725T <br />AUG- 4 1982 <br />
