Davis, P.E. , <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION <br />DATE: July 22, 1982 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to Consider Resolution <br />Providing for the Paving of Portions <br />of 44th Avenue, 36th Avenue, and <br />13th Place and to consider Preliminary <br />Assessment Rolls <br />REFERENCES: <br />Valid petitions have been received from at least 66.7% of the property owners <br />of *he following streets <br />1) 36th Avenue between 12th Street and 14th Street (Preliminary Cost <br />$22,395.43) <br />2) 44th Avenue between Walker Avenue and 22nd Street (Preliminary Cost <br />$22,665.42) <br />3) 13th Place from 27th Avenue to a point approximately 28.5' east of <br />27th Avenue (Preliminary Cost $5,686.91) <br />Preliminary assessment rolls have been prepared for the paving and drainage <br />improvements. The total costs of all three projects is approximately $50,747.76. <br />There is approximately $60,000. in Petition Paving Account No. 703-214-541-35.39. <br />Also, advertisement of the Public Hearing and notification to the Property owners <br />has been performed. - <br />RECOMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />After consideration of the public input provided at the Public Hearing, it is <br />recommended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt resolutions, providing for the paving and drainage improvements <br />for each petition paving project, subject to the terms outlined in the <br />Resolutions. <br />2) Approve preliminary.assessment rolls including any charges made as a <br />result of the Public Hearing. <br />3) Allocate $50,747.76 from the Petition Paving account to fund this work. <br />4) The Road and Bridge Division be notified to begin construction. <br />A.0 G 4 1982 13 50 fpr 7 <br />
