The Chairman asked if there was anyone present who <br />wished to be heard. There were none. <br />ON MOTION BY Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to close the public hearing. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, that the Board adopt <br />Resolution 82-74 providing for certain paving <br />and drainage improvements to 44th Avenue, <br />between 22nd and 26th Streets; authorize the <br />signature of the Chairman; approve the <br />Preliminary Assessment Roll; using the appropriate <br />funding as indicated in the July 22, 1982 memo <br />from the Public Works Director. <br />Mr. Davis pointed out that there were 16 property <br />owners in favor of the petition and 6 people in opposition. <br />He had talked to some of the people in opposition and they <br />now seemed to be in favor of the project. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
