Detennine software needs and obtain available software from the University <br />of Florida and City of Tampa Traffic Engineering. <br />D. Create a central traffic accident file and reporting system through the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />E. Attend microcomputer users group meetings sponsored by the Bureau of Highway <br />Safety and Florida Section Institute of Transportation Engineers. <br />F. Submit Quarterly Progress Reports. <br />V. EVALUATION <br />Data sources required to achieve the aforementioned objectives are: <br />(a) The University of Florida and City of Tampa: <br />Indian River County Traffic Engineering will be responsible <br />for obtaining available software from these sources. <br />(b) Accident reports from all local police agencies will be obtained <br />through requiring municipalities and the Florida Highway Patrol to <br />supply this Division with all traffic accident reports. Quarterly <br />summaries will be issued. <br />(c) Field inventory data:.. <br />Signal, sign, and pavement marking data will be collected by <br />field reconnaissance and placed in the computer weekly as data <br />is made available. <br />Administrative evaluation will be made based on the degree of accomplishment <br />of the stated objectives, as scheduled and reported to the Bureau of Highway Safety <br />by Quarterly Performance Indicator Reports. <br />50. �inE .7719 <br />
