ORDINANCE NO. 91-48 <br />2. All towers shall submit a conceptual tower lighting <br />plan. Louvers or shields may be required as <br />necessary to keep light from shining down on <br />surrounding properties. Strobe lights must be used <br />»nless-prohibited--by—other-agencies <br />3. The reviewing body shall consider the impact of the <br />proposed tower on residential subdivisions near the <br />project site. <br />4. All property owners within six hundred (600) feet <br />of the property boundary shall receive written <br />notice. <br />5. Applicants shall explain in writing why no other <br />existing tower facility could be used to meet the <br />applicant's transmitting/receiving needs. An <br />application may be denied if existing tower <br />facilities can be used. <br />6. Towers shall be designed to accommodate multiple <br />users_ <br />7. A condition of approval for any tower application <br />shall be that the tower shall be available for <br />other parties and interests. This shall be <br />acknowledged in a written agreement between the <br />applicant and the county, on a form acceptable to <br />the county, that will run with the land. <br />Section 73: Section 971.44(2)(c) of Specific Land Use Criteria is <br />hereby amended as follows: <br />(c) Criteria for public and private <br />utilities, public and private - heavy: <br />1. See Chapter 901 for definition of • • <br />• utilities, public and <br />private - heavy. <br />2. Any power generation facility shall be consistent <br />with the provisions of the Florida Electrical Power <br />Plan Citing Act, Chapter 23, Section 23.09101 F.S. <br />3. All below -ground high voltage cables within a <br />utility right-of-way shall be made known the public <br />through -the use-f_signs_posted_ther_ein, <br />4. The disposal of all waste, gaseous, liquid or <br />solid, shall comply with all federal, state and <br />local laws. <br />5. Between all above -ground facilities, (except <br />distribution and collection facilities) and <br />adjacent properties having a residential land use <br />designation, --a type "A° buffer* (with 6' opaque <br />screening) as specified in Chapter 926, Landscaping <br />shall be provided. <br />6.
