him. If you send things out in the mail, Mr. Pringle felt <br />you are not going to get a good input; there is nothing that <br />can beat the sanctity of the voting booth. He said that if <br />the election of the Commissioners had depended on their <br />sending out mailouts, they would not be here. Mr. Pringle <br />felt if the five options were put on the straw ballot, there <br />would be a 60% response from the people. He felt the Board <br />owed it to them as they were the stockholders of the <br />community. <br />Paul A. Graham, physician and surgeon in the area for <br />the past nine years, came before the Board. He spoke about <br />his previous associations and felt he had a great deal of <br />experience - he also spends a lot of time at the hospital. <br />The Indian River County Medical Society was delighted to see <br />this study start, as it was addressing questions they had as <br />physicians. Dr. Graham felt the hospital was a fine asset; <br />it was a deciding factor to a physician who was making a <br />decision to relocate.
