7 SEC. 25 <br />into the County or from one place to another within <br />the County unless such building or structure is made <br />to conform to all of the requirements of the Southevn <br />Standard Building Code in effect in this County at the <br />time of the moving and the requirements of the zoning <br />in which the building or structure is to be placed. <br />The County Administrator is authorized to require any <br />person applying for a permit to move a building or <br />structure, to post a bond or other security acceptable <br />to the County Attorney in an amount up to but not ex- <br />ceeding $10,000, to be deposited with the Clerk of the <br />Board of County Commissioners, payable to the order of <br />the Board of County C-mmissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />The purpose of the bond or other security is to guaran- <br />tee compliance in full within one year with the appli- <br />cable requirements of the Southern Standard Building <br />Code and of these Zoning Ordinances and to restore anv <br />public or private property damaged while the building <br />or structure is being moved. Failure to fully comply <br />within one year as above stated, will result in forfeit- <br />ure of the bond to the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br />All applicants for a permit to move an existing struct- <br />ure, as above stated, are required to furnish the County <br />Administrator three sets of drawings, said drawings to <br />be prepared and sealed by an Architect or Engineer re- <br />gistered in the State of Florida certifying that the <br />structure meets all requirements as above outlined, or <br />three sets of drawings to be prepared and sealed by an <br />Architect or Engineer registered in the State of Florida <br />showing the proposed changes to the building or struct- <br />ure after it has been moved, that will bring it within <br />all applicable requirements of the Southern Standard <br />Building Code or their Zoning Ordinances. If drawings <br />of the structure or building to be moved showing com- <br />pliance as above stated are on record with the County <br />already, the above requirement for drawings is waived. <br />(0) SIGNS: <br />(1) Definitions: <br />a. PROFESSIONAL. Professional identification sign. <br />b. SALE. A sign pertaining to only the rent, lease or <br />sale of the premises upon which it is displayed. <br />C. BULLETIN. A sign or bulletin board located on the <br />premises of a church, institution, club or frater- <br />nal organization for the purpose of displaying the <br />name of the church, institution, club or organiza- <br />tion and the activities or program of the same. <br />d. DIRECTIONAL. Directional or informational signs <br />of as pub nature which states the name or locat- <br />ion of an incorporated or unincorporated community; <br />name and place of meeting of a church or civic club <br />such as Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Civitan or Ki- <br />wanis Club. <br />e. BUSINESS. An attached, free standing or structur- <br />al—s g pertaining to the advertising, announcing <br />or describing of the principal use or uses of the <br />premises upon which it is displayed. <br />f. OUTDOOR. An unattached, free standing or structur- <br />al poster panel or painted sign for the purpose of <br />conveying some information, knowledge or idea to the <br />public. <br />-41- <br />
