<br />AN_ORDINANCE_OE--INDIAN_RIVER_COUNTY,FLORIDA,—AMENDING—THE
<br />FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT AND LAND USE MAP FROM A-1,
<br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT, AND RM -6, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
<br />DISTRICT, TO IG, GENERAL INDUSTRIAL. DISTRICT, FOR THE PROPERTY
<br />GENERALLY LOCATED TO THE WEST OF THE F.E.C. RAILROAD R/W,
<br />NORTH OF 73RD STREET, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the
<br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing
<br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning
<br />request; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to
<br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that
<br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of
<br />-Indian—River-County;--and-
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public
<br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in
<br />interest and citizens were heard;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
<br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of
<br />the following described property situated in Indian River County,
<br />Florida, to -wit:
<br />That certain parcel of land being the southwest one-quarter of
<br />the northwest one-quarter of --Section 3, Township 32- South,
<br />Range 39 East, except that part lying east of the westerly
<br />right-of-way of the Florida East Coast Railroad, and less 300
<br />feet measured normal to the said westerly right-of-way lying
<br />west of the westerly right-of-way of the Florida East Coast
<br />Railroad, and less a parcel being a portion of the southwest
<br />quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 3, Township 32
<br />South, Range 39 East, being more particularly described as
<br />follows:
<br />Begin at the SOUTHWEST corner of the said southwest quarter of
<br />the northwest quarter, thence north, along the west line of
<br />the said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter 400.00
<br />feet; thence east, parallel with the south line of the said
<br />southwest quarter of the northwest quarter 350.00 feet; thence
<br />south, parallel with the said west line 400.00 feet to the
<br />said south line; thence west, along the said south line 350.00
<br />feet to the point of beginning. All of the above described
<br />lands situate in Indian River County, Florida.
<br />Be changed from A-1, Agricultural District (up to 1 unit/5 acres)
<br />and RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District (up to 6 units/acre)
<br />to IG, General Industrial District.
