SmeadSoft Reprint Date: Friday, August 23, 2013 - I <br />ORDINANCE NO, 91- 3t— <br />County held the Comprehensive Plan Amendment Adoption Public <br />Hearing on June 18, 1991, after advertising pursuant to <br />F.S.163.3184(15)(b)(2) and (c); <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has found that <br />unlike neighboring properties which are developed with residential <br />uses or are vacant, the subject of this amendment was <br />inappropriately designated L-2, Low -Density Residential, because <br />the subject property of this amendment was originally zoned and <br />developed commercial/industrial, and consists of severa parce s, <br />under seperate ownership, with buildings of various ages, which are <br />not susceptible, as a whole, to amortization .if treated as non - <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by 1 -be Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that: <br />SECTION 1. Comprehensive Plan Amendment Adoption and <br />Transmittal <br />This amendment to the 'Indian River County Comprehensive Plan <br />is hereby adopted, an ive copies are directed to be <br />transmitted to the State of Florida Department of Community <br />Affairs. <br />SECTION 2. Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan <br />D T-he'man d -d ^tee— des-i-gnation—o€—the--fol4 wing dascribed <br />property situated in Indian River County, Florida, to - <br />Block "U", Dixie Heights Subdivision, Unit 5, according <br />to the plat recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 8, Public <br />Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />Is changed from L-2, Low -Density Residential (up to 6 <br />units acre) to C/I, Commercial/Industrial Node: <br />The Future Land Use Map is hereby revised accordingly; <br />and <br />o Table 2.30 of the Future Land Use Element is revised to <br />enlarge the U.S. Highway #1 Commercial/ Industrial <br />Corridor (south Relief Canal to South County Line) by <br />1.2_± acres <br />SECTION 4.
