Rockridge Street Lighting District has'a proposed <br />budget of $3,083 and a proposed assessment of $5.00 per <br />parcel acre. Last -year this district was on an ad valorem <br />basis and there was a millage of 28� per thousand.. <br />Laurelwodd Street Lighting district has a proposed <br />budget of $5,606 and a proposed assessment of $17.00 per <br />parcel acre. Last year's assessment was $16.35. <br />Gifford Street Lighting district has a proposed <br />operating budget of $67,299 and a proposed assessment of <br />$18.00 per parcel acre. Last year's assessment was for a <br />partial year and it was $12.00 per parcel acre. In <br />addition, this year the number of lights will be nearly <br />doubled. <br />Commissioner Fletcher asked if this assessment will go <br />down after the first capital outlay, and it was believed <br />that it will remain close to the same. <br />South Indian River County Fire District <br />Thomas Nason, Financial Administrator of the South <br />Indian River County Fire District reviewed the following <br />figures and announced that there is an increase over <br />rollback of .088% to accomplish the construction of the two <br />proposed stations, one on the west near Village Green and <br />one on South Beach. <br />13 K GE 2' 7 <br />SEP 13 1982 51 <br />
