ON MOTION by Commissioner Fletcher, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously author- <br />ized the Chairman to write Asst. Dean Avril <br />explaining the Board's previous stand and encour- <br />aging the College to provide the light on their <br />own behalf. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that this is consistent with <br />our past policy. <br />REPORT ON BEACHES & SHORES COMMITTEE <br />Commissioner Wodtke reported that he recently received <br />a letter from Robert Jones of Harbour Branch Foundation, who <br />serves on the Beaches & Shores Committee: It seems that Mr. <br />Jones' position keeps him at sea a great deal of the time <br />and he regretfully resigned from the committee. Commis- <br />sioner Wodtke requested the Board for any suggestions for a <br />replacement for Mr. Jones. <br />REPORT ON PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />A. Replacement of Fellsmere representative on Parks & <br />Recreation Committee <br />Commissioner Bird informed the Board that he has <br />received a letter from the City of Fellsmere indicating that <br />Ersie Hall has resigned and naming Mrs. Susan Wilson as <br />their appointee to the Parks & Recreation Committee. He <br />stated that he received this letter with regret as Mr. Hall <br />has been a valuable member of the committee. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unani- <br />mously approved the appointment of Mrs. Susan <br />Wilson to the Parks and Recreation Committee <br />as a replacement for Ersie Hall. <br />109 <br />S E P 15 1982 <br />51 PAGE 3 � <br />
