S EP *151982 ` <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-90 <br />51 P%rf'3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />ISSUANCE OF A PROMISSORY NOTE TO PARTIALLY FINANCE <br />THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOUTH COUNft'Y WATER <br />SYST&i. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has undertaken to construct <br />a South County Water System, and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the construction is anticipated to <br />be funded from the sale of bonds to the Farmers Home <br />Administration together with the use of certain grant funds from <br />Farmers Home Administration, and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of the plant is occurring <br />ahead of the originally anticipated schedule and the grant funds <br />to pay for the construction will not be available in time to meet <br />construction draw schedules. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that,the attached <br />promissory note is approved and the Chairman and Clerk of the <br />Board of County Commissioners are authorized to execute the <br />promissory note on behalf of Indian River County. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Patrick B. -Lyons, who moved its adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Dick Bird and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. - Yea <br />Vice -Chairman A. Grover Fletcher - Nay <br />Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons - Yea <br />Commissioner William C.
