ORDINANCE N0, 91-8 <br />AN—ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RM -fig <br />MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO IL, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br />DISTRICT, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST <br />CORNER OF 71ST STREET (CEMETERY ROAD) AND THE F.E.C. RAILROAD <br />R/W ABUTTING OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY ON THE EAST, AND DESCRIBED <br />HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />REAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request;-and— <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish -and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described_property, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners—of—jndian—River County,—Flor3.a, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River Coupty, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />A parcel of land lying in -the KA._j—of—,%.E_J—G -., }_'$f <br />Section 3, Township 32, Range 39.. Being more particularly, <br />described as: Beginning at a point 36.43 feet south of the <br />N.W. corner of said N.W. } of S.E. j of S.W. } thence continue <br />south along the west line of said N.W. j of S.E. } of S.W. <br />a distance of 295.15 feet; thence run east on an interior <br />angle of 900 29' 29" from the north to east a distance of <br />89-.-36- feet; thence run northwesterly a distance of 307.16 feet <br />to the point of beginning, said parcel contains .28 acres more <br />or less lying and being in Indian River County, Florida. <br />R6 --changed from RM -6, Multi -Family Residential District.
