ORDINANCE NO. 90- 1 <br />Congress— International, —Inc_, is hereby adopted by reference <br />as the housing code of Indian River County, Florida, with <br />such modifications as may be set forth by the Board of <br />County Commissioners by ordinance. <br />SECTION 7. <br />Conflicting Provisions. <br />Special acts of the Florida legislature applicable only <br />to unincorporated areas of Indian River County, County <br />ordinances and County resolutions, or parts thereof, in <br />conflict with this ordinance are hereby superseded by this <br />ordinance to the extent of such conflict. <br />SECTION -8. <br />Severability. <br />If any section, or if any sentence, paragraph, phrase, <br />or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to be <br />unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding shall <br />not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and it <br />shall be construed to have been the legislative intent to <br />pass the ordinance without such unconstitutional, invalid or <br />inoperative part. <br />SECTION 9. <br />Incorporation in Code. <br />--------------------- <br />This ordinance shall be incorporated into the Code of <br />Laws and Ordinances of Indian River County and the word <br />"ordinance" may be changed to "section", "article", or other <br />,appropriate word and the sections of this ordinance may be <br />renumbered or relettered to accomplish such purposes. <br />SECTION -10. <br />Effective Date. <br />This ordinance shall become effective January 17, 1990. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this 2nd <br />day of January 1990. <br />CODING: Words in $t W R/tl00tV type are deletions from <br />— existing law; words underlined are additions.. <br />3 <br />SmeadSoft Reprint Date: Monday, August 12, 2013 - 15:12:40 - OfficialDocuments:651, Attachment Id 0, Page 3 <br />
