Wednesday, September 22, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Special Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday., September 22, 1982, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, <br />County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the <br />Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey R. Barton, Finance <br />Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and <br />Commissioner Fletcher led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Finance Director Barton wished to add an emergency item <br />re appropriating additional money to pay the Property <br />Appraiser's office for the cost involved in preparing and <br />mailing the 1982 TRIM notices. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unani- <br />mously added to the night's agenda the <br />emergency item requested by the Finance <br />Director. <br />Attorney Brandenburg wished to add an item to the <br />./ <br />agenda in regard to the placement on the ballot of the beach <br />bond issue. <br />BQOI� 51 P6E� <br />SEP 2 2.1982 <br />
