J <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, Commissioner Fletcher voting <br />in opposition, the Board by a 4 to 1 vote auth- <br />orized the expenditure of up to $400 for the <br />trip just discussed and agreed to try to set a <br />date when all the officials can go, either the <br />21st of October or possibly the 28th. <br />Commissioner Wodtke continued to urge Commissioner. <br />Fletcher to participate, and Chairman Scurlock commented <br />that he was not particularly excited about pumping sand <br />either, but in the event the people do support this, he felt <br />we must explore all the possibilities to see that it could <br />be -done in the best way possible. <br />Commissioner Fletcher felt we should answer the <br />question about whether -or not they want it first. <br />COST OF MAILING TRIM NOTICES <br />The Board reviewed the following memo from Finance <br />Director Barton: <br />72 <br />
