FA GC' <br />OCT 61992 <br />ARTICLE 1S <br />OTHER COrQMONS OR SERVICES <br />14.2.1 Basic Compensation - a percentage of construction cost <br />defined below: <br />CONSTRUCTION COST FEE <br />1,000,000 <br />7.5 <br />1,500,000 <br />7.3 <br />21000,000 <br />7.1 <br />3,000,000 <br />6.9 <br />4,000,000 <br />6.8 <br />5,000,000 <br />6.7 <br />' 6,000,000 <br />6.6 <br />7,000,000 <br />6.5 <br />8,000,000 and greater <br />6.4 <br />Percentage fees for amounts between those stated above shall be <br />determined by direct interpolation. <br />Compensation for Criminal Justice System Study: <br />$40,000.00 lump sum fee (payable 50% when interim report is made <br />and 50% when final report is submitted) however, owner shall be <br />entitled to a credit against payments due under basic compensation <br />in the full amount of the $40,000.00 lump sum fee according to <br />the following schedule; <br />The Schematic Design Phase (6000) <br />The Design Development Phase (8,000) <br />The Construction Documents Phase (16,000) <br />The Bidding or Negotiation Phase (2,000) <br />The Construction Phase (8,000) <br />The owner shall be entitled to a credit against each monthly <br />invoice for Basic Services prorated in accordance with the per- <br />centage of work performed within that phase. <br />The Criminal Justice System Study <br />This study is designed to define the Countyts need for space <br />for lay enforcement, detention/correction and law enforcement ad- <br />ministration for a twenty (20) year period and expansion there- <br />after and explore alternative approaches to meet their space needs. <br />The architect will break the County need into ten (10) year in- <br />crements and provide the County with alternate methods of meeting <br />their needs through construction or renovation of existing facili- <br />ties.
