Wednesday, October 20, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, October 20, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons; and William C. <br />Wodtke, Jr. Dick Bird was on vacation. Also present were <br />Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. <br />Barton, Finance Director; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community <br />Services Director; and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice <br />Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />-The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />The Reverend James Newsome, First Baptist Church, gave <br />the invocation, and Chairman Scurlock led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of <br />August 25, 1982. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously - <br />approved the Minutes of the Special Meeting <br />of August 25, 1982, as written. <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of <br />September 8, 1982. <br />OCT 2 0 1982 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />I <br />51 PACE 649 <br />
