Intersection Studies: <br />Projgct #T82-01-02 <br />REFERENCES: <br />43rd•'.Avenue/SR 60 <br />42nd,;Avenue/SR 60 <br />Study of the subject intersections were assigned high priority ("A") <br />by the Transportation Planning Committee during the April, 1982 meeting. The <br />Traffic Engineering Division has investigated the adequacy of existing traffic <br />control at the. intersections of 43rd Avenue and 42nd Avenue with State Road 60 <br />(20th Street). Traffic Volume: Existing approach volumes are summarized in the table below. <br />Volumes for SR 60 are typical for a four -lane divided roadway,'northbound <br />volume is typical of a local road, and southbound relatively high. Accident History: The attached collision diagram (attachment # 1) illustrates <br />the frequency and type of accidents which have occurred at the subject inter- <br />section during the past 41 months. No single accident pattern predominates. <br />There were no injuries nor fatalities.
