Davis, P.Ea ' <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTIQN AND CONDITION <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to .Consider Resolution <br />Providing for the•Paving of Portions <br />of 14th Avenue and 16th Avenue and <br />to Consider Preliminary Assessment <br />Rolls <br />REFERENCES: <br />Valid petitions have been received from at least 66.70 of the properly owners <br />of the following streets <br />1) 14th Avenue between 2nd and 4th Street (Prelimin4ry Cost $25,118.50) <br />2) 16th Avenue between 2nd and 4th Street (Prelimiri4ry Cost $25,130.60) <br />Preliminary assessment rolls have been prepared for the paving and drainage <br />improvements. The total costs of both projects is approximately $50.,249.10. <br />There is approximately $100,000 to be set aside in FY 82-83 budgpt;:for Petition <br />Paving Account No. 703-214-541-35.39. <br />Also, advertisement of the Public Hearing and notification to the Property <br />owners has been performed. <br />RECMMMATIONS AND FUNDING <br />After consideration of the public input provided at the,4?ublic Hearing, it is <br />recommended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt resolutions, providing for the paving and i drainage-. -u provemen•�s-, <br />for each petition paving project, subject to tbe:, te7ms o+�;t �.:;cued. in. t e <br />Resolutions. <br />?.)
