r NOV 198QbOK <br />2 <br />The Administrator explained that it was staff's <br />contention that the hazard did not exist and recommended <br />that the Board concur with their findings. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher, that the Board accept <br />the report from the Public Works Director that <br />the hazardous condition at Thompson Elementary <br />School along Oslo Road did not exist, as defined <br />by the law, and request that the Transportation <br />Planning Committee study to see if a long range <br />plan could be put into effect to provide a bike <br />and pedestrian path. <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that the study indicated <br />a hazardous condition did not exist . <br />Lengthy discussion followed along those lines. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. It <br />was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Davis explained, regarding the Sebastian issue, <br />that they were currently pursuing the right-of-way <br />acquisition along Lateral A Road north of CR 510. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />approved staff's recommendation to acquire <br />right -of -way along Lateral A ' Road north of <br />CR -510. <br />
