3/11/92(Legal)Ob <br />ORDINANCE 92-10 <br />N ORDINANCE--OF-INDIAN RIVER --COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, REPEALING THOSE CHAPTERS IN THE <br />COUNTY CODE (1974 EDITION) THAT REFLECT <br />SPECIAL ACTS AND TRANSFERRING THOSE <br />SPECIAL ACTS TO AN APPENDIX TO THE NEW <br />EDITION OF THE COUNTY CODE. <br />WHEREAS, a number of .Chapters in the Indian River Code <br />are Special Acts of the Florida Legislature and not County Codes and <br />therefore cannot be amended or repealed by the County, and <br />WHEREAS, these Special Acts should appear in an Appendix <br />to the Code rather than in the body of the Code, <br />WHEREAS, orderly administration dictates that those <br />Chapters in the the Code (1974 edition) which reflect Special Acts be <br />repealed, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County-rida that: <br />SECTION 1. REPEAL <br />Special Acts of the Florida Legislature which appear as <br />chapters of the Indian River Code (1974) edition) shall be set forth <br />in -full to)Et-in-an-appendi -to-the-newer-0de-and-said-chapters-in-the- <br />Indian River Code (1974 edition) are hereby repealed as follows: <br />Chapter 5 Citrus Industry <br />Chapter 9 Fish and Game <br />Chapter 10 Hospitals <br />Chapter 11 Article II Improvement Districts <br />Chapter A Law Library <br />Chapter 18 Road and Bridges <br />Chapter 19 Schools <br />Chapter 23 Traffic <br />Chapter 25 Water and Air Pollution Control <br />Chapter 26 Welfare <br />SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This-ordinanee-shall -become-effective-en-becoming-law. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this 21 day of <br />April 1992. <br />This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press - <br />Journal on the 28 day of March , 1992, for a public hearing to <br />be held on the 21 day of April 1992, at which time it was <br />moved for adoption by.
