2/12/ 92. 2(0rd) Legal/V/Ok <br />ORDINANCE NO. 92- 07 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, PLACING RESTRICTIONS ON THE <br />PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THE OLD <br />LIBRARY SITE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach quitclaimed its rights in the old <br />library site across from City Hall; and <br />WHEREAS, said quitclaim contained a condition subsequent that if <br />the site were sold the proceeds would be used for "books and internal <br />WHEREAS, this restriction places a cloud on the title and, <br />therefore, the City has removed the condition subsequent; and <br />WHEREAS, the County desires to fulfill the original intent of the <br />I <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />SECTION 1. RESTRICTION <br />If the old library site across from,City Hall, i.e:, Lots 27 through <br />39 inclusive, Block 1, LANGWICH SUBDIVISION, is sold, the proceeds from <br />said sale shall be used by the County for books, furniture; and equipment <br />for the--" library system. <br />SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This ordinance shall become effective on becoming law. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, on this 10 day of March , 1992. <br />This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press Journal on <br />tl) e 1-3 day o F etrru ar y 1-992 for—a -public—hearin�—to—be-held—on the <br />10 day of March 1992, at which time it was moved for adoption by <br />Commissioner Bird and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Scurlock , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Carolyn K.
