Wednesday, November 17, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, November 17, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, <br />.Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey R. Barton, Finance Director; Sam <br />Mitchell, Bailiff; and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice <br />Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Dr. J. Chalmes Holmes, First Baptist Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Attorney Brandenburg led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Administrator Wright requested adding an item regarding <br />a time extension regarding the South County Water Plant. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously. <br />agreed to add the emergency item to the Agenda <br />as requested by the Administrator. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />October 6, 1982. <br />N 0 V 17 1982 <br />
