r17 1982i -7 <br />Nov BOO!( z -r �` i <br />U ,?!8 <br />City of Fellsmere <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />POST OFFICE BOB 38 <br />FELLSMERE, FLORIDA . 32948 <br />CITY CLERK'S OFFICE POLICE DEPT. <br />PHONE 571-0116 <br />PHONE 571-1360 <br />Tak(m from the <br />Regular Council Meeting of October 14,1982 -� <br />Notion by CM Runyon that we ask the county for a lease on this <br />building in the name of the City of Fellsmere with a clause in <br />it, providing that when the ambulance squad needs space that we <br />will provide whatever space is required for them at that time, <br />leaving of course the front room for meetings of the public and <br />excess to the restrooms, motion seconded. by CM Whitaker, <br />roll call vote, all aye, motion carried. <br />Mr. Al Payne who was acting as spokesman agreed to the above <br />and shortly after the meeting close& he canine back in and t aid <br />he would have to talo: it before the North County Fire District <br />and we have heard nothing from him L-1nue. <br />Our agreement as above still holds. <br />Attorney Kilbride stated that it is now his <br />understanding that at the next meeting of the Ad"visoi�y– ' — - <br />Committee it was determined the North County cannot get in <br />the ambulance business, and Commissioner Fletcher confirmed <br />that at the last meeting of the North County Fire District <br />Advisory Board, Mr. Payne made a Motion to withdraw their <br />request. <br />Attorney Kilbride reported that no other group has come <br />to the City and the City Council still supports the idea of <br />an ambulance squad, and will do whatever they can to provide <br />an area for those services when they can be brought about. <br />Mr. Kilbride then discussed the question of whether the 1944 <br />Resolution is a binding dedication which makes this property <br />forever a municipal recreation center and public park and <br />stated that the City's first choice would be to resolve this <br />question by a deed to the City with a reverter clause if the <br />79 <br />
