ORDINANCE NO. 2007-_a2__ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING THE INDIAN RIVER CODE <br />OF ORDINANCES, SECTIONS 101.03, COUNT <br />OFFICERS; 101.07, THE EXECUTIVE AIDE TO THE <br />COMMISSION; SECTION 101.08, BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EMPLOYEE <br />RELATIONS; ELIMINATING THE POSITION OF <br />EXECUTIVE AIDE TO THE COMMISSION; <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR <br />SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Indian Diver County Code Chapter 101 provides for the organization <br />of County govennrriertt; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 101.07 establishes a position for an Executive Aide to the <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has decided that the Commissioners would be better <br />served by having an assistant assigned to each district in order to conduct the day to <br />day business of the Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, with the establishment of the position of the Commission Assistant, <br />there no longer is a need for the Board to ernploy an Executive Aide to the Commission <br />as the Commissioner Assistants will assume those duties; and <br />WHEREAS, as the Executive Aide to the Commission position has been <br />eliminated, Chapter 101 must be amended to reflect trte changes, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERSCOMMISSiONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that; <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br />sections 101.03, 101.07 and 101.08 of the Indian River County Code of <br />Ordinances are amended to read as follows; <br />Section 101.03.
