Wednesday, December 1, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular. Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, December 1, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, <br />Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Sam <br />Mitchell, Bailiff; and Virginia Hargreaves and Janice <br />Caldwell, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Larry Westman, First Baptist Church, Winter Beach, <br />gave the invocation, and Administrator Wright led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Commissioner Wodtke requested adding an item regarding <br />the Beach and Shores Committee. <br />Commissioner Bird requested adding an item concerning a <br />sub -committee to study available beachfront property. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to add the emergency items to the Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />October 20, 1982. <br />WX F <br />
