Wodtke felt a lending institution would have <br />trouble with a restriction that would not allow them to ever <br />sell the property,and he did not believe we can deed it <br />without a restriction that it can't be sold and must be used <br />for a public purpose. <br />Chairman Scurlock informed Mrs. Ingram that the <br />Commission is indicating that the League is the only entity <br />they are considering and that they should go ahead and <br />proceed to get everything firmed up. <br />Mrs. Ingram noted that the school is not in a workable <br />state and this presents a problem when people want to come <br />and see it. She wished to know if they are permitted to go <br />in the building and get to work. <br />Commissioner Fletcher asked if we need to get the <br />School Board to give us a release so the League can proceed <br />to get the place in working order. <br />Administrator Wright suggested that staff work with <br />Mrs. Ingram to come up with the answers and come back to the <br />Board with a finished product. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wodtke, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Fletcher, to <br />authorize the Administrator and the Attorney <br />to work with Mrs. Ingram and Attorney McDonough <br />and come back with a proposed deed at the first <br />meeting in January. <br />Discussion continued as to the main potential for <br />leasing being the Health group, and the importance of <br />cleaning up the property up as soon as possible. <br />Commissioner Fletcher asked Mrs. Ingram if the League <br />is ready to accept the building as it is, and Mrs. Ingram <br />agreed they are, if that is all the School Board is going to <br />120 <br />r <br />52 P6E <br />I <br />
